Review: The Senator's Son by Anna Albo

This is the first book I got to 6 hours in the audio book in one day. Like any other book I read or listen to I had predictions of what's gonna happen and to my surprise it happened. There's the line of what characters I came to love and ones I came to hate. I'm democrat but I have to admit I don't love politics. There's a lot of corrupt crap in the world that we can't control and we want to. What I love about this book, there's romance and humor that has me laughing so hard. It's safe to say, I enjoy the book and the narrators so much. Love to see more from this author, keep them coming.

Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout book 2

I'm loss for words and also I can never understand this series. After one of my favorite characters is killed off, I was very sad and wanted to cry. I hate to say this, Andrew should of been killed off instead because he's like his sister Ash negative. I love Katy and Daemon though. One thing I hated about this series is hybrids are caged and harmed, treated like beasts and that makes me sick how someone treat someone that is different so horribly. Just like I don't like animal cruelty in the world and I'm against it. Against my better judgment, I decided to continue reading the series and would likely read origin series too but with everything happening in this book. I'm stepping back and taking a breather instead of quitting. Other than that, I did enjoyed this book though. Review: December 23rd, 2021 Rating: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Genre: Teen, Romance Author: Jennifer L. Review: Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout book 1

With everything going on around them, Katy and Daemon fight like children. With Daemon, he definitely has the power to dominate Katy, sexual or not. This book is good and I enjoyed it with the humor, romance and suspense in this novel alone but it wasn't my favorite I think it's because, I never read a alien and human romance book before. I almost lost interest in this book and want to click out of it because this book dragged on slowly but I stuck with it and they took forever when they kept fighting their attraction. I actually thought it was gonna take a dark turn and I was on the edge of the seat. The author has creativity and is a good writer but The way the book ended and I found out there's more books, I'm now unsure if I should continue this series or not but who knows where this journey takes me into the unknown right? Only time will tell.  Review on: November 30, 2021 Rating: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Genre: Teen, Romance Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout Review

Curvy Girls Can't Date Best Friends By Kelsie Stelting

I always loved and still love reading best friends romance stories. People always say best friends is the best kind of relationship and that's true. I can relate to Carson and Callie and love them together.  They are a perfect fit for a cute couple, even though I have gotten frustrated with them at times because they are stubborn. They went through love, pain, heartbreak, forgiveness and fate still brought them back together. That's a journey I never forget and that's definitely true love. I'm curious to see what the next character story will be like. Don't Forget Me By Judy Corry

This is a unforgettable story about two best friends falling love and going through a journey about love, angst and pain, finding a way through the storm back together. Only character I didn't like was Kelsey. With her trying to mold a man into the perfect guy and want to see him the way she wanted. She gives guys and love a bad name with her controlling nature as I put it. It didn't set well with me the way she treats guys and didn't make me surprise if she made guys start to hate her but other than that, I enjoyed this story.  Reviewed on: November 27th, 2021 Rating: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Genre: Teen, Romance Author: Judy Corry Reviewer: Megan Glass Recommend: Yes Tags: Romance, Teen/YA, Angst, Heartbreak, Audiobook

Review: Allusive Shock by Susan Griscom

This is the first audiobook I finished listening to and since I found no ebook or paperback version, so I grabbed the audiobook edition and realize I enjoyed audiobooks. When i listened to audiobooks before use to I couldn't finish them due to them being hours long. This book had a coming of age element feel to it and I'm not a fan of that because of my painful past of my own coming of age story. It's hard to adjust to but manage to get through the audiobook with no surprise. At first, it was hard to adjust to the heroine being resentful but when it came to love, she started changing and that's amazing even though they had a rough journey through survival and tragedy. This is the first time in a long time, that a book shook me up and got emotional at the same time. So many feels too in the story too. I'm indigenous since I have Cherokee and Comanche heritage but before I listen to this, I never heard of miwok Indians and I researched them. I love how t
